The Dr. Sanchayan Roy did his undergrad at St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore. After completing his
M.B.B.S. was completed, he worked at an remote hospital located within Tamil Nadu for 2 years. He did D.N.B. for General Medicine in the Department of General Medicine at St. Martha’s Hospital, Bangalore. After graduation period, he was employed at the Jaydeva Institute of Cardiology and the highly regarded NIMHANS (Neurology and Psychiatry) in Bangalore. After receiving his D.N.B., he worked at Wockhardt Hospital in Bangalore for a total of five and a half years working as a specialist in Critical Care Medicine. In that time, he also received training for respiratory therapy under the supervision by Dr. Ravi Mehta (Interventional Pulmonologist). He then moved to Delhi and was employed in the Critical Care Medicine Department in Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj. Following an enriching experience, as an Intensivist and consultant as the ICU responsible for Nova Orthopaedic And Spine Centre, Nehru Enclave. Now, the doctor is Dr. Sanchayan Roy working in Fortis Escorts Heart Institute as Consultant in Critical Care Medicine. It’s been a thrilling journey through the myriad of years and accumulating vast knowledge and experience to get the status of today. He is a specialist with a great interest in and extensive asthma, heart, diabetes and related issues as well as the management of geriatric issues and care. Aside from that, his interest and expertise has been related to Neurology and gastrointestinal disorders as well.
